Good Morning Planet! I enjoyed my trip across the Bay!

Friends,

I sure enjoyed my trip across the Bay in my Negus 17 Saturday! It was rough as hell in Mobile Bay Saturday with it's short and unpredictable chop but my Negus handled it well and dry!

I am glad I decided to cross on over to Fowl River I have had so many good times on that River.

I've had so many boats in my life it felt like home on that Bay and in that River and Bay. I never will forget going out in the bay when I was about 17 with my ex-wife Tammy's then brother-in-law Julious French during Tropical Depression in his bow rider robbing a few crab traps in sea from the south-east so strong and heavy I had to lean out over the bow with a smy hands and body stretched out with waves hitting me in my glasses as he would pull the boat in just close enough for me to grab a basket rope with Julious laughing his ass off as we pulled in another basket!

We were right at the end of the fowl river channel and I thought of that trip with Julious and the two dozen crabs we nabbed that day so long ago as I and Boo Boo navigated into the channel from the Bay.

I was proud of his declaration that I was the craziest person he had ever been out in his boat with by putting self out over that bow and hanging on with my feet to to catch a few crabs that day!

God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

P. S.- I wanted to own my own crabbing business when I was 14 or 15 but my dad had me happily working 40 plus hours a week pumping gas, checking oil and washing windshields and selling beer food and souviners on the causeway at Kingfisher Exxon and eventually even shuttling me down to Battleship Exxon to run it by myself at 15! That was a big thrill to a 15 year-old!
