Image via WikipediaI have read most of this book and as it tells tales of youth, adventure and times on the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta which is on the northern end of Mobile Bay which seperates Mobile and Baldwin Counties it should be something someone considering this area to live or work as an interesting look into the areas natural beauty and recreational opportunities!
I must add there is a story in this book as told by my father Floyd E. Wooley from his perspective growing up on "The causeway" as we local folks like to call what is now known as "Battleship Parkway"!
I as well spent much of my youth on the causeway and have stories I would love to share as well. Maybe one day I will get a chance to work on just that piece of work.
Enjoy reading this book and the scenery as is it is now just 30 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.
