Journal Entry 061712-D: Floyd E. Wooley. Happy Fathers Day!

Dad,

I wanted to honor in some way on fathers day that may last as long as human beings walk this beautiful blue planet and/or I have "blogger" put this blog in book form if not both ways on the internet and in a book if and when I am able to find, get the opportunity or blogger offers me the chance to publish these posts.

I never will forget the midnight runs to Dauphin Island on the Mermaid after yall closed Kingfisher Exxon on Battleship Parkway in Spanish Fort on a friday or saturday night "stormy weather" or not.

Most times from Dog River Marina.

I dont know when the above picture was taken by mother in the salon of the Mermaid or where-Dauphin Island or at Terry Cove Marina at Orange Beach, Alabama.

The memories of our shrimping, fishing and trips to Alabama games are always on my mind.

I never will forget our last trip out for your birthday in August 2004 on my boat "keep Her Wet."

We didnt catch any fish but Alex, Lee, myself and I hope you enjoyed the trip.

I still have the pictures and video. I know you didnt feel well that day.

I never will forget the time we went out Perdido Pass and filled the Mermaids Ice Box before the sun was up good as mother slept.

I hope we get a chance to go fishing or to an Alabama game again soon.

Happy Fathers Day Dad.

God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Floyd Clifton Wooley,
Your Son
