Journal Entry 100513-A: Spanish off the Pier!

Friends,

First let me say "Roll Tide Roll"!

The trip to the Pier this morning had some real excitement as I watched Spanish Mackeral being caught off the end of the pier!

A beautiful Bull Red was in a cooler and Jack Crevalle had been caught earlier this morning.

Boo Boo continues to want to walk less and less but I understand with her age it's got to be difficult to get out and walk.

Maybe she just doesnt feel well this morning and she'll feel better tomorrow.

Karen is being stubborn out in the old gulf and that is amazing. Well she just will not turn east so the shear is going to keep tearing her apart.

I would guess.

Have a nice day yall and please try to visit the Pier cause the visit will lift your spirit.

Journal Entry 051013-A: Friday Night.

Friend's,

Friday night at home watching some National Geographic Television with Boo Boo cooking some chicken in the oven planning to boil some spaghetti noodles and put a little spaghettii sauce on the noodles and chicken.

Sounds boring you might think but this Friday night I don't feel that way at all.

This past week really started out kinda rough with a lot to worry about but after three doctor's appointments, getting Boo Boo some Revolution to replace her Trifectis bringing in some new inventory for the store and having it rain today and most likely tomorrow as well- well all things considered the first ten days of this month could have been a helluva lot worse.

I had some customers in this week in-spite of my having to be away from the store and having the weather turn bad for most of the upcoming week-end- mother's day week-end no doubt which I'm sure a lot of you want to spend on the water so I guess to some degree were all in the same boat.

Maybe Sunday will turn out to be a beautiful day for all of us mostly our mother's.

Anyway yall I'll be open tomorrow and I'm going in here and finish supper.

Thanks again for stopping by this week both On-line and In-person and hopefully you'll have a great week-end where-ever you maybe on this planet and the weather here will allow you to have a nice week-end before it is all said and done.

God Bless, Peace, love and Knowledge!

Journal Entry 042613-A: Psalms 6.

Friend's

I have hacked and whacked among other thing but what a "wonderful" Psalm 6 is to anyone that had just every commandment broken across their back.

I chose not to try and re-write it so I hope get some relief from it as I have.

Friend's to rewrite any part of the bible to me is almost as big a sin as baring false witness if not one in same so shame on me if I ever born false witness none-the-less I hope you enjoy the Psalm and in the 21st Century anyone can be hacked and whacked anytime anyplace so vigilant my friend's so you don't suffer that terrible fate.

Journal Entry 042113-A: Sunday Morning Before Church.

Friend's,

Sunday morning before church I decided to take boo boo for a walk at the pier and take a few pictures for you of a beautiful Sunday morning in late April of the The Mobile Bay Area and of the peaceful beauty of Fairhope, Alabama's bay front park.

I had the good fortune of seeing several other people jogging, walking or as I myself was doing spending time with my beloved dog.

I can't help but mention the lady with the beautiful white Schnauser- I hope I spelled schnauser correctly.

I had told her the story yesterday of how as a kid I had watched our schnauser Dolly be attacked by a bull dog on Bay Road that is directly across the bay in one of the pictures above located directly between dog river bridge and the clump of pine trees and industrial facilities to it's right or south.

As I watched from a couple of hundred feet away the bulldog swung or spun dolly around and from my rear and from down our driveway Happy our Doberman Pincher ran to Dolly's aid knocking the bulldog several feet.

My father rushed dolly to the vet for stitches but I will never forget Happy saving Dolly from the Bulldog that day.

It wasn't a pit bull to my recollection.

Let me get boo boo and get to church.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Journal Entry 041613-A: How can I say how I feel and what I beleive in?

Friend's,

I am on Disability.

I have since birth wanted to have a family and be somebody.

That simply meant being the best I could be at what-ever I did in Life.

I didn't know I was born ADHD.

I simply was born that way. Lord have I been "tortured" for that simple truth.

I have always wanted to leave my family a business of some type (like it or not) and a "life insurance policy (like it or not.

"I" want to leave something for my children not my mother and father's belongings and assets not live off a gifted child or win the lottery I simply want to have something to pass on after my funeral besides what-nots or memories.

My father tried to explain his desire to leave me something when I was about 15 and I would have none of that talk.

Now I simply understand his "frustration" that day on I-10 in Mobile, Alabama as we entered the "tunnel". I simply understand.

I had a business that was my dreamed and I was duped out of it and onto disability then "tortured" relentlessly til I am physically and psychologically a wreck yet with enough meds I want to full fil my life-long plan.

Please teach your children early on that when we as parents wish to pass on something to them we damn well mean it- regardless of what anyone does to us until we die.

They should get their education and if ADD or ADHD they should be damn careful that they never let anyone "dupe" them out of their dreams just as we as parent's have dreams.

God Bless the "disabled" but we want to work at the profession of our choice to give those children what we have planned.

Forgive me I had a walk-in and had to stoo for a moment.

I appreciate you stopping by very much.

I have an appointment Monday with Social Security and I'm sure they will treat me fair.

How-ever I will worry about that appointment until Monday and possibly after-ward as I try to build this business and hope you and I have the opportunity to meet at some point in the future.

I hope you enjoy the pictures I took this morning at the pier and please pray for our country as we move into an age never before seen in the history of mankind where possibly good technology is used as a weapon against us to destroy our lives and prevent us from seeing our dreams become reality but please as you learn of this technology protest it peacefully.

God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Journal Entry 041313-A: The Western Shore of Mobile Bay at Sunset.

Friend's,

I was out for a drive to the launching ramps with my dog "Boo Boo" and I thought you might like to see the pictures shown above.

We lost a dog in the family this week-end I had hoped to see again myself but unfortunately I didn't get to see her but her "mother and daddy" are sure missing her.

I think of my "boo boo" and how they must feel but I'm not sure if they know how I feel.

I'm glad we got out to the ramps in any event and although "boo boo" is acting mighty clingy right now and barking her little head off when I leave her I am glad she was able to go.

She is 11 going on twelve herself and we both miss having a woman in our lives that is for sure.

I haven't had a woman in my life in so long I don't think I would know how to act but anyway I hope you enjoy the pictures and stop by the store when you get a chance.

God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

P.S.-Sorry if I seemed to be crying on your shoulder in any way - I do appreciate being able to share my little moments of beauty with you.

Journal Entry 040813-A: Boo Boo and I went to the Pier before I opened the Store this Morning.

Friend's,

Boo Boo and I decided to go for a walk this morning at the Pier before we opened the store this morning while we waited on Rite-Aid to open.

It was such a beautiful morning out there this morning on the pier and on Mobile Bay.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. I sent the one I took that was a close-up of the Egret to my sister Kathy. It was especially for her but I decided to post it on my blog as well.

There were a few people down at the park enjoying the wonderful weather as I did.

I had a special visit today from Dan O.and Ellie Garroway this morning.

I love them both and have known them since August of 1996.

Dan and I worked together for almost 5 years selling homes for Bill Dobbins, Charlie Dukes and Hayne Dukes and other's and I consider he and his lovely wife two of my best friends on this planet.

I sure enjoyed going to church yesterday and seeing some more old friends and I will add as well "I love that Church.

Spanish Fort Church of Christ. I feel so comfortable there even years later.

I have been busy today at the "store" and Lord I love small business even with all it's difficulties in the first few years.

I want to say this because it's from the "heart, mind and soul".

Some may think I'm insane and other's understand but the truth is the day it makes a profit will be a very happy day in my life as I may have to pay some taxes.

Yes paying taxes is something in my business plan I look forward too as do I enjoy even in a seasonal business when it is maybe a little difficult to do and that is pay those Sales Taxes.

That money goes toward many positive things we enjoy on a daily basis.

I guess that is all I have to say for now.

God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Journal Entry 049613-A: There is a wonderful project going today at the end of County Road One.

Friend's,

There is a wonderful project going on today at the end of County Road One better known as "big mouth" by we locals or at the entrance to Weeks Bay from Mobile Bay.

I was told they were expecting 700 volunteers and I beleive the Sierra Club is co-ordinating the project.

The project from what I understand is to build an artificial sea wall that will also serve as a haven for small fish.

I didnt get all the details so the project may just be held today or encompass one or more days so if your interested in finding out more details you may want to drive down as they have food and drink for at least the volunteer's and I'm sure they would love to have your help not to mention the possibility the project may last more than one day which as stated I didnt ask as I just happened upon the project upon my visit to the ramps.

Have a great week-end.

God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!
