Friends,
I have a small seasonal "business" that I am in the process of building from "scratch"!
A man just walked in and asked for an item I did not have. I offered to have it for him tomorrow.
He thanked me but said he needed it today.
I handed him a card and he and as he walked out he said "it's okay I'll get it at Wal-Mart- I just wanted to see if you had first.
I said thank you again and asked him to please come back and that I was sorry I didn't have it today!
I know I didn't have what he needed but he helped "life my spirit" because "I know that I will have it the next time he needs it and I mostly I appreicate him giving me the "opportunity" to have it first and that "motivation" may save my little business through the "off-season" when it is so easy to get down.
Small business built this country and I enjoy the cidea of possibly having a successful "small business" to pass on to my family one-day thanks to a person walking in on a day when I was a little down going into the "off-season" and the uncertainty that such a time brings.
