Journal Entry 022814-A: The Navy is invading Mobile Tonight!

Friends,
It should be a wild night on Dauphin Street with the Crew of Columbus rolling through the streets of downtown Mobile following the Striper's Parade last night and with The Mystics of Time bringing Mardi-Gras to a crescendo on Saturday Night especially with The United States Navy having invaded Mobile and occupying the town with a vengeance not seen since Admiral Farragut said "Damn the Torpedoes! Full Speed Ahead" as he fought his way into the mouth of Mobile Bay over 200 years ago!
I'm sure The United States Navy will be welcomed in a much more festive manner as they each year for Mardi-Gras in Mobile, Alabama!
We have a parade tonight here in Fairhope, Alabama as well that I'm sure will be an exciting event!
Tomorrow is the first day March 2014 and if the weather forecast is as expected it should be a beautiful first weekend in March whether you have plans to attend Mardi-Gras festivities, take your boat out on the beautiful waters of Mobile Bay, The Gulf of Mexico in the Rivers that flow into those bodies of waters or ride up in the Mobile River Delta.
You may have other obligations or plans but it should be a beautiful weekend!
I hope youll find something useful, wanted or even needed on one of my blogs or the pages set-up to make your browsing experience more enjoyable!
If you would rather stop by or give me a call I will open regular hours here at Battleship Marine!
God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!
Floyd Clifton Wooley

P.S.- Yall there is a Navy Warship in this picture! It's just a little further to the Mobile Ship Channel from the end of Fairhope Pier than it is from the Western Shore of Mobile Bay!
