Journal Entry 081314-A: My best wild guess for the Tropics!

Note: I had the good fortune to take this photo last evening of a Coast Guard Helicopter patrolling just north-west of Point Clear, Alabama!

Friends,

Currently there is a mid to upper low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico!

Just for kicks I give it a 25% chance of developing Tropical Characteristics as it moves toward the North-West toward the Lower Texas Coast over the next 72 hours!

Roll Tide Roll!

God Bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Note: You may visit the following link and put these satellite pictures in motion and make your own assumptions. I've been watching this area move Westward or a little North of West from the Northwest Caribbean Sea over the last several days!

Originally it was an upper low but is slowly working down to the mid-levels!
