Journal Entry 071112-C: Squalls Over Mobile Bay!
Friends,
Summer has truly arrived in The Mobile Bay Area.
Tonight a light breeze with a slight coolness in the breeze was felt as the breeze off the bay ahead of the squalls moving in from the north-west cooled on the skin as the thick hot humid July heat caused a sweat to break.
Summer on Mobile Bay has indeed arrived as it has for thousands of years.
The fish were biting both croakers, catfish and I think someone mentioned an occasional white trout.
Old Glory surely fluttered in the breeze as it should forever on that flag pole over Fairhope Park, Beach and Pier.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
I would write more about the wonderful experience of visiting the Pier with Boo Boo and spending time with the people of Fairhope, Alabama and points far beyond in a truly wonderful area to live for most of the population but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Journal Entry 061212-D: You know what depresses me and please don't hate me for it. We need you; The ADD, ADHD!
Friend's,
You know what depresses me?
I came home and wrote that last post and come back on my C-Spire Wire-Less "Smart-phone" to see advertisement's for "Detox and Re-hab Center's!
It breaks my heart!
I have seemingly no control over such a "national disgrace"!
People getting rich "stealing" lives from person's deserving of Doctor Amen's "three day" evaluation to determine their diagnosis. That information I hope he still publishes!
I want to see advertisement's for Shire products back on my site.
I want the "Art Institute" to advertise on my site!
I want to see other "educational opportunities on my site".
I want "career and small business" start-up opportunities on my site!
I want to see "family and Vacation" tourism advertising on my site!
Anything positive about having a "better life" by way of an education, career, business, entertainment at a tourist destination on my site so you and your loved ones can "go enjoy the fruits of your labor" so you can come home without fear of your world being turned upside down because you are ADHD, ADD, Driven and/or Love being "creative"!
I want you to come to Alabama and see a successful community of men and women that aren't depressed as "every-thing" that is "Holy because some well let's be nice- person in your life well turned it upside down and someone got paid to do it!
Please don't hate me because I am ADHD and Driven to success?
I had to say it someone has too!
I hope many feel as I do even at ninety-six!
My life seems a waste because I wasn't treated for ADHD as a child and had the opportunity too "shine"!
I'm trying to get past that.
God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!

Journal Entry 061012-A: I wonder if there was a Jubilee Last night at The Fairhope, Alabama Beach?
Friends,
I wonder if they had that Jubilee last night along the "eastern shore" of Mobile Bay that a young man told me that his grandmother had predicted?
If you aren't familiar with what a Jubilee is that occurs only in two places on the planet that I know of please see Wikipedia link on this page to read about it.
I grew up on the "western shore of Mobile Bay and have unfortunately never attended a "real" Jubilee since moving my residence to the "eastern shore of Mobile Bay in 1995.
I have worked on the Baldwin County side of Mobile Bay or the "eastern shore and/or BattleShip Parkway almost my entire life less time in school a short stint working at Luther's Bar-B-Que at the time located on Airport Boulevard in Mobile when I was 16, time spent with my Grand-Parents; Mr. and Mrs. Nevin Sauce of Robinhood Drive off Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile as a youngster and one summer when I was 15 that I spent most of my time with friend's- fishing, swimming, bike riding and camping out at the "fort" my friend's and I built on an old pier "platform that we actually" rebuilt after Hurricane Frederic in 1979 to dock our boats at and have our parent's worry we might accidently burn down with our "little" bar-b-que grill.
We won't mention girls as we got older! LOL! We were all friend's anyway!
The point is that last night was what it was and I do Love South Alabama and "The Central Gulf Coast" I just wish a few things were handled differently.
That's beside the point because it is a great place to live!
Pictured is a real 24" Ship's Steering Wheel with a 1" keyed straight smooth bore spline for use on your "boat" or as a "decorative" piece! They normally retail for much more if you can find one at any price but I have one that I will let you have "Now" for Father's Day at the pSale Price of: $49.99 plus tax and shipping!
Let me know in time to assure delivery by "Father's Day" by "visiting" or "calling me at Battle Ship Marine.
Visit the Battle Ship Marine link in the Navigation page for our "store" hours.
I look forward to hearing or seeing you!

Journal Entry 052612-A: It was Beautiful at the Perdido Bridge Boat Ramp!
Friend's,
Boo Boo and I got up early this morning and decided to go out and do what we had planned to do this morning!
First I had some coffee and put together as planned as many flyer's as possible to take with us on our trip out to advertise our "official" re-opening of Battle Ship Marine on June 1, 2012!
We stopped at Gas Depot for air and headed east to fish river marina where we left some flyer's on the gazebo table then east and south to Farragut's Landing to leave some more flyer's!
After leaving Fish River we traveled South to Orange Beach to the "boat ramps" on Marina Road!
The water was beautiful the parking area jam packed with boater's and people enjoying the beautiful sunshine!
Orange Beach in general was a buzz with activity for the celebration of the Memorial Day week-end!
My only regret is that I didn't have enough flyer's to visit the Cotton Bayou boat ramps, the boat ramps at "fisg-river bridge, big mouth or up the east side of Mobile Bay to Fairhope, Alabama!
I stopped back by the Gas Depot to get air and on to Wal-mart in Fairhope, Alabama to pick up a loaf of bread and eggs for breakfast!
I just finished nailing up some more backer strips for peg-board as plans to add new inventory this season are not off the list by any means!
God bless, Peace, Love and Knowledge!
