I'm sure of one thing the best gift a person can give a young person or themselves is a gift of technology one that we as older people but too old can give to improve, educate and prepare our youth for a better life than we have had or just given them an option for a different career path- actually many!

Today has been quite positive and informative not to mention.. I met and enjoyed conversing with a very nice, intelligent and attractive I might add individual that should be able to correct some issues with my two sites.

I only vaguely describe the person as like they said upon leaving my office "Let's get all these issues worked out before we advertise our abilities" unquote!

I certainly feel like we made progress so that is what matters and we will give credit where credit is due when given the green light so to speak.

I want to write on a particular subject this afternoon that I had planned to have ready for posting prior to Today as today is of course the first day that will live in infamy as our once brilliant and disabled but very capable President Franklin Roosevelt described it upon the Nation learning of the attack on Pearl Harbor on this date December 7, 1941!

I'll try to get it done before hopefully most of you get home from work or if your are already home by 7 or 8 pm as it is a date that has lived in infamy and I might get embroiled in watching TORA! TORA! TORA! the original version if I wait to late!

God Bless those members of our country that lived, fought and died or were wounded that day and their families just as we do the one's that did the same on September 11, 2001!

1200 NASA workers to be laid off!

The idea that 1200 NASA employees are to be laid off seems so unlikely an event in this year that marks the name of "2010 a Space Odyssey"! For a person as myself and I'm sure many of you that grew up in the 70's and 80's feeling that although we were watching such movies that were in fact science fiction but had the feel of movies that contained technology that surely could not be that far off base as to what may be available to our planet for use in this time period it seems a sad headline to read!

Yes we have one International Space Station but in my imagination when looking into the future I felt in those days that although some of what was shown in those movies may not be occurring now as presented for our minds to wonder I certainly felt some more activities leading to some wonderous discoveries for our planet and the human race lay ahead!

Not by unmanned Space Craft but by missions to at least near by planets such as Mars with technology that seemed right at our door step considering our trips to the moon had already been accomplished and Viking had ventured to Mars- A newspaper I still own Today shows the black and white photo's of the surface!

The computer on the ship depicted in "2001 A Space Odessy- Hal" and it's depiction as becoming so life-like that it the computer began to make independant decisions seemed like a strange and not so possible a thing to happen.

Of course that was in the 70's before "voice recognition", "windows", "voice-over",
"the clarity of an OnStar system", the "micro-chip" and even in my own imagination I hadn't thought much about being able to buy a 139.00 radio at Wal-mart that allowed me to speak so clearly to people over a pin-point sized mico-phone and they to speak so clearly back to me over either 2 or 4 speakers in my automobile that it would seem almost as if they were in the automobile with me!

In fact if you were spoken to in that manner over a "blue-tooth" network without your prior knowledge you would be astonished at your response! I can assure you of that!

No in my imagination we would have easily available the technology that would transmit our voice and image from anywhere on this planet to another or into space to our family and friends but not with out our knowledge or the ability to turn such a system off or on with-out the other parties knowledge!

Unfortunately that technology has been used in ways so detrimental to some people's lives they have been harmed to the point of taking their own lives a thing that a young person in the 70's that had not known such deceit and had such a positive outlook for the future did not take into account!

Now when the technology exists to take us to places that our planet and the human race may actually discover some wonderous thing that could make life on this planet better for everyone our Space Program is being limited while other nations such as China are moving forward with much success which as an American and a Democrat that idolizes such hero's as John F. Kennedy for placing us in a position to be first and to reamin foremost in the area outside our on little beautiful planet, we may I am afraid due to our obligations over seas- brought upon us by a small group of people that are Hell bent on punishing us for NOT being of their beleifs which are not it seems the beleif of their own religion or faith!

My parents used to have an intercom in their office in the 70's that worked via the power outlet that seemed so crude at the time because of the sound quality but it led to many a time when I thought of the future but I had no idea what that improved technology could lead to nor did I understand that it would be used for possible harassment of individuals as it is Today!

Let's stop sometimes and think a moment about where we are and try to imagine using our technology for the good of the human race even in these times of war and the unfettered use of our technology for the detriment of the human race and not as it should be!

Our enemies may use some of this same technology against us if we don't stand strong commit the resources as a nation to eliminate them abroad by using both our military, intelligence and diplomatic efforts along with but not least of which is our ability to prove they our enemies are fighting against something or an ideal that is not a threat to them but allows them to exist as long as they themselves observe common humanity as it is taught in all religions, faith's and philosophies! That is that I have ever in my uneducated world have had the time to study while trying to make a living, provide for my family and live long enough to see the day that seems threatened by our divisiveness as a people that also makes us the unique country that we are in these United States, the countries of our allies both in the western world and globally.

Yes it does seem that the world has become more diverse in many places and that seems to create fear among a segment of the populations of all nations but most of us beleive in one GodEarth seem to be the one's that are most easily led to the slaughter by those fears making it impossible or seemingly impossible for an idealist like my self or hopefully many more to envision our dreams of the people of this planet doing what should be possible by some means now in the 21st Century and in fact heading into the second decade of this Century!

Maybe not! I look at things from that "worst case scenario" stance first now in my life and hope for the best! In my youth I looked for only the best outcome never expecting the worst because until the last few years I felt hard work would off-set the possibility of anything but the best case scenario being fullfilled if you kept yourself on the high ground physically, mentally or spiritually!

It would be nice to see a return to that ideal in my own life as well as that of not only those citizens of our country but also that of the rest of the world!

Crazy it sounds, insane to some but I doubt to the majority!

P.S.- I finally found Space 1999! If you have never seen it you should. It was my favorite show other than Star Trek and it came on at 10:30 on Saturday night!

 

Adult ADHD? Having issues with outside pressure not to treat?

Let's talk frankly about something here that is a seemingly widespread issue but may not be in another area.

ADHD can be treated successfully and life can be returned to the same state it may have been when you were untreated and truthfully didn't have a soul that knew you were legally treating yourself by accident.

If you were please contact me so that I'll know of the 300 million people in our country I'm not the only person thought to be lying about how well my Ephedrine worked before it was ruined by the addition of the cough medication that was added I am unable to spell! If you knew right now I'm laughing that I can't spell the worst thing I've ever endured having to take when I could have been on ADHD meds and not worrying about what may be next in life; to screw things up if I hadn't been just a busy builder taught to fear psychiatrist in the first place!

Friends if you are ADHD we need help on something and you and I both know what it is:

1.) Protecting our free will to make our own decisions of what, when and where we might want to work, play, *love.

2.) Protection from individuals, organizations or official mental health policies that may be only isolated area beliefs that are not the national standard or the general beliefs of any segment of the populice not neccessarily the majority that is uninformed on the subject of ADHD.

*Love: Ask me one day what I've been subjected too on this subject and what my definition is of the word Love!

The Company I once researched at one time discussed this issue on their public website. The statement was in regards to children and the tendency that people in their lives that may not beleive in ADHD and change their dosing by not giving them the noon dose of ritalin. The stated reason Concerta was developed and marketed as once a day ADHD control medication that I know of only two person's that claim to have been prescribed. The bottom-line is that if you know of my life story I was one of those people that didn't beleive at one time in my life in ADHD and with-held treatment on week-ends with my oldest son when he stayed at my house at my request -a foolish thing to do I admit and have told him now that he is an adult! Regardless of if it were the right medication or not in my opinion because I was uneducated a statement I have never made in this context.

I was the fool considering my own youthful experimentation on occasion that thankfully was in fact cured by the accidental use of an over the counter medication that everyone is hoping I die of so they can blame it when it could be some of this other medication I have been fed. Since losing it before being educated on the subject of ADHD out of desperation so that I could speak with my doctor in some way, shape or form that would lead to the truth sooner to help me do what I'm doing right now!

An outrageous Idea: Form an organization that's sole purpose would be to visit or possibly live with an ADHD adult for a 30 day period to do two things:

1.) To protect an individual from outside interference in their ADHD treatment.
2.) To by positive reinforcement help the adult patient maintain notes and compliance that makes their quality of life improved and helps them to lives worth living on a schedule that is consistant with an average life as lived in this country on a daily basis in a natural but somewhat sterile enviroment.

Living alone I thought would work at one time for 30 days if it could be without outside interference but that has not been protected in any way shape or form!

I have a police report where I have asked for such protection only to be scolded when I mentioned Adderall.

Idea: A seminar that our police could be involved in that would explain the newer and more difficult ways that a person can be harassed or have such interference disrupt their lives by either side of the fence with regard to such medications and their use. Separating street drugs from prescribed medications that are meant to help if not interfered with for any reason by technological harassment by communication.

It has taken me hours to write this because my computer has slowed down so much!

A review of the HP2050 Printer.

I have to let you know one thing that I'm sorry to say I fell for and it was the HP 2050 Printer!

The price made it look mighty inviting at 49.99 especially with the price of ink cartridges as expensive as they are and had been for my other printer the HP 5550 that I have had for several years that works fine and I would recommend to anyone doing any moderate to heavy printing! The HP 5550 uses the 56,57 & 58 cartridges that although more expensive last for months depending on use and list on the package "I believe how many copies to expect" from use.

The problem with the HP 2050 is that the ink cartridges only last last a short time. I haven't counted the number of copies actually that I was able to get from the cartridges that were purchased to replace the ones in the box but it is ridiculous for anyone that loves to keep copies or print photos!

I was fooled by the half-price advertisement on ink cartridges that is all there is too it!

I just thought you might like to know if you haven't already experienced this problem.

You might want to compare ink cartridge models for one of the HP printers on Amazon.

I have had very good luck with HP Printers in the past and the 2050 is okay for someone that doesn't use their printer much! To nail it down it is the 60 & 61 cartridges that work on the 2050.

For God's Sake! Don't forget the Adults in these Ads for ADHD!

To our friends and God fearing scientist's,

Seriously that's no laughing matter! It just is important that the pharmaceutical companies to make sure they don't forget us poor traumaitzed adults in these ads and especially the study and treatment of ADHD/ADD or the depression we face from having been told all our lives to "come eat supper honey" before it get's cold after we got home from work then passed out on the couch we eat so much then wake up frustrated the five projects we had to finish before we noticed "she" needed some "love" but it was too late so we got up the next day and ran around work like we knew if we worked real fast we could out think the book worm that we secretly wanted to be but damn were lucky to get the "new" computer set up cause we were suppossed to be smart but really if we were it was hard to tell we moved so fast!
Something like that!

I spent most of my life wondering "what am I good at"? Most likely to "succeed" at what? I didn't buy a computer til I got "hooked" ephedrine and could sit there and actually study it! I flunked out of Windows classes a few years before!


I was trying to tell a miserable type joke about God fearing Scientist's.
Never feel like you can't help your self through life and take the derivitive or granddaddy of a 5000 year old Chinese herb! Who put that herb here?
