Child abuse and what not to remember publicly until it's time!

  I'm sure you all have a Face Book account but if you don't or haven't seen this video I thought you might like to have it for viewing as it seems to explain a subject and explain another subject we all should have the most disgust for along with a half dozen more!

Like I have explained before I was lucky to have parent's that although they weren't up on ADHD or ADD did go light on me in the punishment department for the most part!

Well I mean who wants to spend all day in their room for whatever thing they may have done that they were lucky they didn't get some bridle wreath or a belt for in the first place and a few things I might contest even now but I'm alive and have fond memories of my child hood for the most part except the time I stepped on that 16 penny nail and it came out the top of my shoe but that was my fault wouldn't you think?

People that purposely abuse their own children are low-life's and I've known a few and to be honest I have three grown children okay the one that's 18 is my ex-wife's baby but they all are too me in one way or another and I have my own particular situations with each that I wish I had handled differently in a much more quickly thinking way than action but that is life and I hope they forgive me if they thought it was the wrong action to take just like have any such thing in my background as a child which I won't even go to because there are so many or a small percentage of people that give no lee way in any situation other than what they consider what could, should or might have been done until they face a similar situation themselves!

As for the true abusers of the world they should be held accountable and will be here and in the next life!

As for charities with regards to young people I have one that I have wanted to donate too since right before Hurricane Ivan and when I get into a position financially I plan and will do just that!

Which one would that be?

The one that saved my best friend and his wife's son- God let me tread light here because saying someone saved another can be well I'm superstitious so forgive my hesitation but they all know who they are that is the people involved.

St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis is that organization I believe in with all my heart!

I had a plan that was supposed to be kept in confidence and retroactive to the beginning of 2004 whereas any home we completed would garner a donation to five organizations of our clients choice and it wasn't supposed to be advertised.

The whole idea had come from my parents upbringing of their son and the "Better Life Foundation" and our experience working with them by good fortune through the love of the music by my daughter "Allison" of the founders of that organization "Three Doors Down"!


The gift was to come out of our profit or loss regardless. Unfortunately Classic Southern Homes, LLC was devastated by the hurricane financially and was unable to even collect enough money to pay my sister-in-law her final pay check and it was her job to handle getting the list together for that commitment from the clients. We were not asking anyone for a donation we just wanted to know their preference if they had one!

I have a proof of a newspaper ad that shows that silent promotion of our whole companies values and I hope it never made it too print.

By the way it was an easy decision to help the Ronald Mcdonald house because when my youngest son to this point anyway- just kidding maybe Alex, okay?


Anyway, Alex you may remember had surgery in Atlanta at Piedmont Hospital on several occasions and their wasn't a Ronald McDonald house nearby.

Why mention it now?

Because I hope no one saw that dang advertisement for our homes and I know someone locally will see this and it buys me time to make a dollar before they come looking for me! Laughing. I am serious though thank you too my parents giving hearts and to Three Doors Down and especially my daughter Allison for bringing them to my attention when I was so busy I felt like an Earth-worm in a fire ant bed!

It certainly wasn't her fault- my sister-in-laws, nor well it was mine because I hadn't experienced a storm's after effects on a home building company to that point in my life- so one day that will be rectified in my life-time. I certainly didn't expect to go bankrupt over it before completing a recently made decision prior to the storm.

Yeah we all have unfinished business on this planet and the object is to get the list as short as possible before we leave and move on to the next life regardless of our beliefs or something like that! Even if we don't have a gun held to our to head to help us remember the list! Should I say "you know what I mean?"

Just don't spread that around right now because I need some time to raise some cash! the above stated that is about a debt to some organizations I'll either pick or call my old clients and ask them and the Bankruptcy court can sue me for paying off an old debt that I may not even owe on paper other than in my heart.

Do something yourself when you can for somebody as some one said yesterday it will make their life better and the part about how you feel doesn't really matter!
No offense intended.


Seriously keep that in mind when dealing with people under stress because they sometimes or most times have things on their mind that you would not believe unless it was brought to your attention and they can get depressed seriously over those things left unsaid!


The bottom-line is protect your children from people that would do them harm!

Friends, Neighbors and those I don't know personally,

Please take some advice from a stranger that has spent his whole life working to make his family happy with n idea what to do past the next week because I'm techno dumb and to top it off I didn't even pass a windows class I took in the late 80's!

Why should you listen to me? Because I've been down, I've been up and back down down again. The reason no planning! Only promoting!

I couldn't plan out on paper more than a six month budget in my personal finances and my 17 year-old second wife made one mistake and paid the furniture bill and not the Trailer bill! Damned if I didn't take the check book away and not in a mean way cause I love women and especially smart, sassy, confident, balls of energy just like me!

From that day forward I handled all the bills and keep in mind I was self-employed and had a salaried job! I've worked since I was 12 years-old trying to sell somebody something that "I could believe in from Bar B Q to mobil-auto & truck detailing after my dad got hurt on a job in 1985 to Becoming President of my Dad's Company Southern foundation Drilling Co Inc. after his accident to coming home from repairing the damaged equipment after the insurance companies fought over whom to blame when it was clear who that rest with and it paid big for my family at my Dad's health, life expectancy and more my Mother's miserable routine of having to help restore his scalp after it was removed in that terrible accident in December 1985- 6- years after he and my mother lost everything both business wise and financially after hurricane Frederic that hit Mobile, Alabama on September, 12 1979!

The only thing not damaged by that storm was his construction equipment he had just purchased one year earlier!

Chris Craft Constellation, The primary business that was recovering from an  Interstate 10 by-passing them in 1976!

If you are Louisiana or Texas you remember that Interstate Ten opening over Mobile Bay and my family had the two Exxon Stations on the old Battleship Parkway. It took a few trips but you found us again but by that time the recessions of the early eighties had devastated our family  by bringing the profit on gasoline down to a couple of pennies a gallon all that was left was a smaller (1) store on owned property whereas the Primary location was on leased State land and the State wanted all the profit leaving only an unfinished restaurant and a launching ramp that took in a 100.00 a day!

Not to mention my father had spent 20,000.00 in 1978 cash building a camp park on that location that was totally wiped away in September when for the first time the previous month it had been full to capacity for the first time!

I could go on.

I wanted a MBA from the University of Alabama in my dreams because I've always been ADHD and we didn't have computer games to captivate us then like we do now! ADD is hell but throw in my energy that is here it is just under-neath a little depression and you aren't going to finish a class in any school anywhere especially sitting at your home office online! Other options? NO! Learn from doing!

The ADD, ADHD way of the last few thousand years!

I have done it all and can still do it all thanks to ADHD treatment with a little more thrown in by my doctor to overcome some disappointments! Yeah you may think I'm weak but not as much as some might say!

The point is have your I's dotted and your T's crossed before you start a project that is why I had success in the Home-building field!

Reader's I learned from the best in that business after liking it so much as a child watching my Dad's seven year addition to our home or his timeless and priceless  time spent getting that boat ready after working twelve to eighteen hours days and falling out ready to do it again the next day although as I later learned and should have picked up on he was as hard headed and bad about being late so much I almost got kicked out of the private school I went to in Mobile for being late every single day!

Call it Fatigue or ADHD but the bottom-line is we are so much alike we have a hard time finding time that only five years ago was a piece of cake to have!

If you are young- male or female! Make sure you are treated for that condition we call "not such a big deal"! Promise me that! Please! You'll still be a work-a-aholic but a more in tune one to say the least and if any more you are on the wrong regimen!

Please do this for me and you will make my life worth living! If not for my being so fast around their place and picking up bits of information from my parents I would have made nothing of my life.

If not for working for Charlie Dukes a former school teacher at Dobbins Homes then at Dukes Homes and him having taken the time as did my best friend Dan O. Garroway to let me find my way in their program and the blasphemy some call it of self medicating with what I am on now my life would have never meant a thing and too many people I delivered for those companies and my own Clients!

If I had the same doctor I have now a few months earlier I might even be with a girl that on July the 4th of this year and on a couple of other dates made me fall almost head over heals in love with her! If not for some details of what the aftermath of two more hurricanes have done to me I would most certainly have hugged her back when she last threw her arms around me! I miss her company and conversation greatly!

The reason for writing this story is that each and everyone of you should have one credit card you use to go on vacation each year and freeze the dang thing in the freezer the rest of the year if you have too because to get out of your place and go enlighten yourself will re-energize you immensely!

Find the right medication if you need it for ADD or God forbid ADHD because it is much harder to slow yourself down than it is to speed yourself up for some of us!

Take that vacation- Please!

I was 37 and my second wife 37 also before we could do that and it was no body's fault but our own!

We both were 32 when we bought our first home! Don't wait that long to do that and I know everything there is to know about how not to be unable to that!

I lost my Home-building license because I had no money, no lawyer to speak for me and no energy from working myself to death! Don't ever do that too yourself because- just because!

I have no idea how to link and be paid for anything you buy without having someone do something for me on an IUO!

Don't let that stop you!

Amazon.com and the other links are fantastic and some very well known companies! Buy something online and never forget what I said about buying a home and taking a vacation!

Your Children, Clients, family, and Co-worker's or Employees as they may be or even Contractor's will see the difference in you!

Live life to the fullest and never let anyone get control of your free-will! God will be there in ways you'll only know when it happens!

Enjoy your life, job and family in whatever order you see fit for your personality!

Plan ahead but do something on the spur of the moment that puts a smile on your face while you can! I plan to get back to that point in my life as I'm moving forward!

One more thing find charity that you believe in!

Look like the Crimson Tide is just too much for Jags tonight!

Jag fans get ready for Saturday and a noon CDT tip-off with the Louisville Cardinals up there and well see if tonight's tangle with The Alabama Crimson Tide pays some dividends for the young inexperienced team that Coach Ronnie Arrow is molding here in South Alabama!


The game was close at the half with Alabama holding only a marginal lead but half-way through the second half things started getting out of hand especially with an injury to the Jags inside man. Any injury to your hand, wrist or otherwise can be just enough to make it a different feel for the young man.


Ronnie Arrow is now 1-1 against the Alabama Crimson Tide as The tide prepares to travel to Purdue; after the two aforementioned road games for the Tide and Jags they both take a week off before resuming play.


The University of Alabama is now or shortly will be 4-3 as the the University of South Alabama Jaguars continue their schedule at 2-4!


Go Jags!

I'm just about past my bedtime so let me go for now so I can get up tomorrow and resume my schedule whatever that may be in trying to right my program!

Hopefully the Jags will make a late run and make it respectable after 43 years of play and 1200 games played much to the delight of us Basketball fans here in South Alabama!

Trans Parenting? Rhymes with Transparency! I know but I'm trying.

Friends,

I would hate for you to have to take that class I took today because it means you have reached the end of a relationship and a court has mandated you take the class but if it were taught a little earlier in our kids lives or our maybe some of this collapse of the American family we see would not be and there would be more of us that as friends and partners hopefully more but at least those first two positive aspects of life would be used if just once a day in some form by each partner be it a relationship between lovers or business partners even.

To put it plainly we have seen these ups and downs in all races in this country and around the world most likely but as a mongrel I feel like we mongrels are in a fight to save our families and being blamed rightly so for our part by our spouses and our parents and so on! Just don't tell them that cause it's bad enough as it is!

I'm slowly getting my bearings in fact I have had them back for quite a while but due to some mistakes in my own life and how I've kept upbeat enough to not get swept around til I may have drowned to prove at least one point in my life was positive I don't really know but I have so if you are happy I'm glad for you but if not don't worry you'll find your way back. Just don't feel badly for wanting to be happy because if you do that no one around you will be unless you are in drugged out haze! Well then you will be seen but not heard- laughing or crying!


Unfortunately through experience I identified with the actors in the movies that were only a few minutes in length but thought provoking as I thought back to an earlier time and a divorce that had the very issues in it these people were acting out and it was drama! What do I mean?

The one parent using one kid or teenager to benefit her need to find a way to target the father and the father using the teenage son to target the mother even doing what seemed to me as a fact lying to his son about a support payment.

This book covers so many factors of how all the family members are affected by a divorce that you I hope find time to buy a book that takes a look at the situation from the overview of a family and not one side or the other! I know it is hard to stay neutral but these folks were over the top and I thought I hope I haven't been in the same situation for any length of time because it looks silly but true how people act sometimes.

I'm ADHD, I get irritated quickly control it as I can for the short little time the irritability is there and when not being treated it was more like a flash of dynamite and a calm so it's hard for me to maintain a long drawn out fight because it tires me as it most likely does you if ADD or ADHD especially with the D word in the mix. Yeah even that is worse when you bring it up around older family members because they don't admit the D word exists ah they don't care they take pride in their beliefs as do I mine!
I'm gonna leave it at that and maybe if we could get more talking in our lives instead of less as the trend goes with some I know something positive would come from it as it always has for me!
I hope some of you know me from Dobbins and Dukes Homes or Classic Southern Homes and if you do remember me you know I like to have a conversation! How else to build friendships and homes at the same time? Not any that I know of!
